Begun in 2008
I started making “Atlantis” back in 2008 with the intention of creating live sculpture works where plants took on anthropomorphic identities as part of a larger group.
Atlantis was made as part of the cities series in which I was exploring fantasy worlds. It has been growing for 14 years and was featured on the cover of 002 Magazine in 2012 as well as Lawndale Art Center’s Big Show in 2014.
